Youth Engagement Bus Conversion Case Study
Client Requirement:
Auto Solutions was commissioned to transform a standard panel van into a fully equipped youth engagement bus for Millwall Football Club. The aim was to create a welcoming, mobile community space that could be used to engage with young people across the local area.
The vehicle needed to provide a comfortable and entertaining environment while remaining practical, self-sufficient and capable of operating in a variety of locations, including areas without access to mains power.
Our Approach:
Starting with a bare panel van, our team designed and completed a bespoke conversion tailored to the project's community-focused objectives.
The build included:
- Custom Seating Areas - Installed to create a comfortable and welcoming space for youth engagement activities.
- Integrated Storage Solutions - Added to keep equipment organised and maximise the available interior space.
- LED Lighting System - Fitted throughout the vehicle to create a bright, modern and inviting atmosphere.
- Flat Screen TVs - Installed to support presentations, activities and entertainment.
- Premium Sound System - Integrated to enhance the user experience and support a range of engagement events.
- Solar Panel Roof Installation - Added to provide sustainable off-grid power, allowing the vehicle to operate in remote locations without relying on external power sources.
- bott UK Storage Solutions - Demonstrating the versatility of bott UK products beyond traditional commercial vehicle applications.
The Outcome:
The completed youth engagement bus was transformed from an empty panel van into a fully functional mobile community hub. Equipped with entertainment features, practical storage and independent power capabilities, the vehicle provides Millwall Football Club with a flexible space for connecting with young people throughout the local area.
The finished conversion delivers a professional, engaging and self-sufficient environment that can support a wide range of outreach activities, helping the club extend its community engagement programmes beyond traditional venues.
