MT Drains, commercial plumbing and drainage specialists based in Sussex, approached Auto Solutions for a bespoke van conversion featuring a practical, efficient layout to streamline their daily operations. They required:

The Solution
Layout:
We fitted their work vans with a smart, split layout to separate equipment and maintain a clean, organised workspace:
- Rear “dirty” zone dedicated to the jetter system and drainage equipment
- Central “clean” zone designed for storing tools, equipment and everyday working kit
This layout enables MT Drains to keep contaminated equipment separate from their main tools while making everything easier to access throughout the working day.
Lighting:
To improve visibility and safety, we installed upgraded lighting both inside and outside the vehicle:
- Enhanced interior lighting to make loading and accessing equipment easier, particularly in low-light conditions
- Exterior amber hazard lighting to ensure the van remains highly visible when operating at the roadside
Security Enhancements:
Drainage equipment can be valuable so additional security measures were added to help protect the contents of their work vans:
- Heavy-duty deadlocks
- Number plate protection
- Anti-peel door protection to prevent forced entry
