We fit only the highest quality tow bars and towing electrics approved to Ec standards and the tow-bars themselves are covered by a lifetime guarantee.
There are many different varieties of tow-bars depending on the vehicle and the intended use for the tow-bar. The three main types of towbar are discussed below.
The most commonly used type of tow-bar in this country is the Flange ball where the tow-ball is bolted to the tow-bar with two 24mm bolts. The tow-ball is permanently fixed to the vehicle and will fit all cycle carriers.
It is also possible to tow whilst carrying cycles. The fixed flange-ball tow-bar may cause interference with the reverse sensors on the vehicle. Please contact one of our dedicated technicians who can advise you further.

This version offers all the versatility of a fixed flange bar whilst leaving very little of the tow-bar visible when detached. the tow-ball is removed when not in use preserving 'shins' and will not trigger reversing sensors when towing unlike the fixed flange-ball. It is also possible to tow whilst carrying cycles.

Swan neck towbar. Some people prefer a Swan-Necktowbar where the tow-ball is part of the neck of the tow-bar.
This type of bar can look tidier on the vehicle but is much less versatile. Cycle carriers are available for this type of bar but you cannot tow at the same time.
